On 27 April 2009 SPESIMA GmbH won the Big Award (IKAR statuette and award certificate) of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) for the year 2008 in the category “Innovations”.
The awards were given to companies, organizations, scientific teams, medias, and physical persons with contribution to the bulgarian economy development.
The award was given in the presence of Mrs. Meglena Plugchieva – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria and former ambassador in Germany, Mr. Ivan Iskrov – Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank, Mr. Dr. Michael Angerer – Trade Commissioner of the Austrian Trade Commission in Bulgaria, Mr. Dr. Bojidar Danev – Chairman and Executive President of Bulgarian Industrial Association.
There were 5 awards (IN-5) in different categories (industry, investments, innovation, intellect and initiative) and SPESIMA was awarded for its work on the EU projects and successfully implemented PHARE Programme Project - for a new technology introduction and making a Gas and Plasma Cutting Workshop, as well as for the appearance of SPESIMA GmbH specialized robots on the market in India and South Korea (due to the sales of FRECH machines there).
